True Food Kitchen located in Santa Monica ( also in Colorado and Arizona) was such a great experience! This should be a top destination for the gluten free community. This restaurant ranks #1 in Southern California. The gluten free selections are endless and they really GET IT!!!!!

INSTRUCTIONS: Enter the park and go straight to the information center next to City Hall. Ask for the Gluten Free Restaurant Map. They will hand you pages of ideas to make your stay one of the happiest on earth. We selected an outdoor restaurant and as soon as I told the clerk we have a serious gluten free customer, she ran to get the Chef who came out and assured Lori it would be fine. When lunch arrived the chef brought out Lori's and assured her again, because he was the one who made it! Disneyland ROCKS!
Fresh Brothers really caters to the Celiac Community with fantastic tasting G/F pizza. The location we visited was Marina Del Rey. Check web site for others. 5 stars.
There is a great addition to the Bridgeport Villiage Shopping Center in Tualatin Oregon. We have dined twice at Native and have been very pleased. Ask for the gluten free menu! The salads are wonderful and the service rates 5 stars. They started in Palm Springs and have expanded to Chicago, Los Angeles and now the Portland area with more locations to follow. Very unique, different and delicious.
*Note: If you visit a new location like in Tualatin Oregon, ask for the manager on duty to explain that you need your dish 100% gluten free. They are very curtious and go the extra mile to make sure you will be back!
Just got word that California Pizza Kitchen is serving G/F at all their big full service locations (not airports or small take out concepts)...They also created a special menu of various G/F items. Lori is very careful when it comes to any big chain that also is big in the pasta business...but we will give it a try. Nice to see another big chain recognizing the G/F community.
It is always a treat to find a PF Chang in Nevada, California, Arizona, Oregon...many other states that feature their gluten free menu. If you have been reading some of these posts, you know that my wife must be 100% G/F. I think the gluten free dishes at Changs are better than the regular in-line menu! When ordering make sure you are clear that the dishes must be gluten free as many of them are also featured on the regular menu. When the dish arrives pay close attention to the shape. All gluten free items are served on a round plate with their logo displayed. For take out orders ALWAYS double check when pick up that it is gluten free. Stickers should be attached to the boxes. P.F. Chang have been a national leader in supporting customers who must be gluten free. Thank You P.F. Chang!
Roy's is a terrific favorite. They are located in many states around the country and are all consist ant in food quality and excellent service. Ask your server about gluten free options. Big selection always and the kitchen is always careful with the prep.
