This gluten free ad appeared on the front door of a local (Portland Oregon) Subway. I asked the manager how sales were going with the G/F program. She commented that sales have been terrific and well accepted. I asked if they confine the G/F bread from the regular offerings and she said "Yes". I think its great that Subway is doing this, but I also wondered about the pace behind the counter with a line of people waiting what the cross contamination risks are. The jury is not out yet but I wish them nothing but success and happy Celiacs.
